Development Officer now in post!

Development Coll are incredibly pleased to announce the appointment of Coll’s new development officer, Roderick Macfarlane. Underneath is a little bit more information about Roddy, who starts his post on Monday the 18th of August.

A graduate of English literature and Philosophy from the University of Aberdeen, Roddy taught English in Japan for five years before, most recently, managing a charity music school in Peebles in the Scottish Borders. Although hailing from Edinburgh originally, Roddy has many links to Coll and it’s community (including family ties going back generations).

In his free time, Roddy enjoys both listening to and performing music, photography and (very) amateur horticulture and is more than happy to talk about any of his interests at length! He is very much looking forward to settling into the community and getting to know everyone.

Roddy will be working in An Cridhe in the office from Monday the 18th of August, so do come and say hello!
